Trino | Editorial
Welcome to the inaugural issue of Trino, a new adventure magazine published quarterly from Bangladesh. Trino is a non-profit initiative that wouldn’t be possible without the contributions of its authors and editors.
In Bangla, Trino means ‘grass’. No adventure kicks off without the first step and every first step outdoors lands on grass. We hope that Trino will become your guidance and inspiration to extreme adventure, and it all begins with the first step.
Trino aims to include inner stories of all forms of adventure by adventure-lovers hailing from all the cardinals of the compass. It will emphasise local adventure along with the current international activity on the same topic. The inaugural issue combines stories based on watersports in Bangladesh by a pleasing mix of established outdoor lovers and emerging talents, all of whom continuously achieve some high adventures in this plain land. We are particularly honored to have a story from Steve Backshell on his Westminster’s canoe marathon.
Trino also introduces readers to previously published articles in other magazines time to time. We highly appreciate single-authored collections and team contributions of words and pictures. Please do visit the Trino website to read the latest adventure stories as well as details of how to subscribe to the magazine and submit your stories. We hope you enjoy the inaugural issue. And don’t forget to write to us.
