International Coastal Cleanup 2008
International Coastal Cleanup is knocking on the door. Following the successful cleanups in 2006 & 2007, this year the promise is high & Kewkradong Bangladesh promises a better coastline for Bangladesh.
200 volunteers have signed up already for this one of a kind conservation project and numbers are still counting ! Students from schools, universities has joined in to form the largest voluntary workforce in Bangladesh. Its about time when we say we did it yet again for another time.
In September each year, International Coastal Cleanup is organized all over the world. Thousands of volunteers put their hands together for a better coastline marine environment. On this day, volunteers remove public recreational debris from the beaches and help generate mass awareness among the local people as well as the tourists. They are united in the world’s largest voluntary event on behalf of clean waterways and and a clean ocean.
Bangladesh has the world’s largest unbroken sea beach and it is also among the most devastated ones too. We need to act now to save this natural wonder of the world and it’s bio diversity from the pollutants. All you need is just a little effort and opportunity to be a part of this noble act. Kewkradong Bangladesh gives you this opportunity to extend your hands for a better marine environment with all it’s biodiversities and healthy ocean.
Welcome ICC 2008 !
“Be a part of the solution, the time to act is now. Your positive response that’s all we need for a better shoreline”
